Daanbi Password Manager is built on a "Zero Knowledge" architecture. This means:
- Your passwords and data are encrypted locally on your device before they are ever saved.
- We do not have access to your Master Password.
- We cannot decrypt or view your stored data under any circumstances.
2. Data Collection
Since our application works primarily offline, our data collection is extremely limited:
- Personal Information: We collect your email address and name solely for license management and support communications.
- Payment Information: Payments are processed by third-party providers (Stripe). We do not store your credit card details.
- Usage Data: We do not track your usage of the application or the websites you visit.
3. Data Storage
Your password vault is stored locally on your device in an encrypted file. You are responsible for backing up this file. We do not store a copy of your vault on our servers.

We use trusted third-party services for specific functions:
- Stripe: For secure payment processing.
- Email Providers: To send your license key and important updates.
